AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, controlled access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor movement throughout the location, observe and report unusual behavior and/or conditions, and document incidents in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines. Support staff, visitors, and/or authorized personnel with access control, directional assistance, and communication during routine operations and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A valid firearms permit is preferred. An armed guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
