Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Part-Time Armed Security Officer to join our dynamic security team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding property, personnel, and assets through active patrols, surveillance, and rapid response to incidents. Your presence will help maintain a safe and secure environment, ensuring peace of mind for everyone on site. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in law enforcement, military service, or security to apply their skills in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the premises using CCTV systems and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and prevent theft or vandalism Monitor surveillance equipment (CCTV) to identify suspicious activity and respond promptly to security breaches Manage access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies or conflicts using conflict management techniques and first aid skills when necessary Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional presence at all times Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and logs for future reference and investigations Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations as needed Experience Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous; willingness to obtain if not already certified Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Familiarity with security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response planning Experience working with law enforcement agencies or emergency services is a plus Join us in creating a safer environment where your skills in security, surveillance, conflict resolution, and emergency response are valued and utilized daily.
