AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence and coordination with site leadership and/or law enforcement. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or authorizations as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry, prohibited items, and policy violations. Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities, and support investigations, emergency procedures, and other security-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card or license is preferred. A valid firearms permit is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
