Job Description

Full-Time | Night Shift Leadership 4:00p.m. - 12:30 a.m. Competitive Pay + Comprehensive Benefits Protect What Powers the Digital World At Whitefiber's Enovum Data Centers, security is more than monitoring systems — it's about protecting mission-critical infrastructure that keeps the digital world connected and operational 24/7. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Shift Security Manager to act as a liaison between Day Shift management and overnight security operations at our Madison, NC data center campus. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational continuity, maintaining a secure environment, supervising overnight security personnel, and responding to incidents in real time during non-business hours. Key Responsibilities Night Shift Security Operations
  • Oversee all overnight security operations across the data center campus during assigned night shifts hours
  • Ensure continuous monitoring of access control systems, surveillance platforms, alarms, and incident management systems
  • Maintain 24/7 operational readiness and immediate response capabilities for security incidents, emergencies, and escalations
  • Conduct routine facility walkthroughs and inspections to ensure site security and compliance Team Leadership & Supervision
  • Directly supervise Night Shift Security Technicians
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and real-time support to overnight staff
  • Monitor staffing coverage, shift assignments, attendance, and performance
  • Conduct shift briefings, incident debriefs, and nightly operational updates
  • Support training of new team members on overnight procedures and protocols Incident Response & Escalation
  • Serve as the primary overnight escalation point for security-related incidents and operational concerns
  • Lead response efforts for emergencies including unauthorized access attempts, alarms, medical incidents, and facility disruptions
  • Ensure all incidents are properly documented, investigated, and communicated to leadership teams
  • Coordinate with Operations, Facilities, and local emergency responders when necessary Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company security standards, operational procedures, and audit requirements
  • Complete detailed nightly reports, incident documentation, shift logs, and pass-down communications
  • Communicate night shift issues and concerns to Security Manager
  • Maintain accurate records for investigations, audits, and operational tracking
  • Support preparedness drills and continuous improvement initiatives Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve overnight operational efficiency and security effectiveness
  • Recommend enhancements to procedures, staffing, monitoring practices, and physical security measures
  • Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and operational discipline across the night shift team Qualifications Experience & Background
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in physical security, security operations, law enforcement, military, or critical infrastructure environments required
  • Experience in data centers, healthcare, utilities, manufacturing, or other 24/7 operational facilities strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field preferred Skills & Strengths
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments
  • Excellent situational awareness and incident management skills
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective during emergencies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail, accountability, and operational discipline
  • Proficiency with security systems, surveillance platforms, and incident reporting tools preferred Work Environment & Schedule
  • Full-Time hours: 4:00p.m. - 12:30 a.m.
  • Primarily onsite in a secure, mission-critical data center environment
