AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through proper channels. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, gates, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support access control procedures for restricted areas in accordance with post orders and site requirements. Support emergency and incident response by communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or public agencies, assisting with de-escalation, and following established protocols during alarms, medical events, or other urgent situations.
Minimum Requirements:
An armed guard card or license is required. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
