PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or potential policy violations. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and support controlled movement of people, vehicles, and property in accordance with site requirements. Support order at the location by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when circumstances call for additional assistance.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A valid firearms permit is preferred. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
