SECURITY OFFICER/ Wilson NC

• Establish a security presence. Monitor foot and vehicle traffic in and out of the facility, patrol property.
• Must be able to read and understand the English language.
• Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing all business and/or production areas.
• Announce the arrival of all guests, deliveries, and those here to service and repair.
• Complete reports and other required documentation. Write reports for all security incidents. Have the ability to stay calm and respond quickly to any stressful situation.
• Monitor alarms and security cameras, answer phones, provide information, give directions and general guidance to those who seek it.
• Complete all walking patrols while being especially alert to any suspicious persons and/or activities. Inspect buildings, equipment and access points. Serve as a deterrent to persons who have intent to committing criminal acts.
• Verify load information of all product load arriving and departing the property.
• Be consistent with every action, be professional and most of all respect everyone.
• Other duties as needed.
• Part Time and/or Full Time possible.

Schedule needed is Monday through Friday 5pm to 3am!

Candidates must meet the following:

• Be able to pass drug and background checks
• Have access to reliable transportation that does not include public transportation.
• Be free of any felony convictions
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be alert, comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time in all types of weather.
• Have proficient written and oral communication skills plus a working knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• All employees are required to wear the provided uniform. Keep clean and neat appearance with good personal hygiene.
• Profanity, Racial Ethnic Slurs, Jokes, and sexual harassment are strictly prohibited.
• Previous security experience a plus. . Beneficial to live within a 30 minute drive time from the prospective job assignment and various off site locations. . Active North Carolina Unarmed Guard Card preferred.
• Candidates must have working knowledge and ability to operate a smart phone or tablet.

General operational knowledge of these devices are required for reporting activities.

Pay:
