As a Private Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, customers, and assets. Officers serve as the first line of defense against criminal activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access while providing exceptional customer service and professionalism. Benefits Competitive hourly wages with opportunities for advancement Flexible scheduling options Comprehensive paid training program Variety of work environments and assignments Positive and supportive team culture Professional development opportunities Paid Uniforms Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Responsibilities Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of assigned properties Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity Monitor buildings, grounds, and parking areas for suspicious activity Respond to alarms, disturbances, and calls for service Control access to facilities and verify authorized entry Prepare detailed incident, activity, and daily reports Observe and report safety concerns, hazards, and policy violations Assist clients, employees, visitors, and members of the public as needed Coordinate with law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, and company dispatch when required Enforce client policies and maintain order in a professional manner Respond appropriately to emergency situations and critical incidents Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong observation and problem-solving abilities Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies Ability to work independently and as part of a team Exceptional attention to detail Open availability preferred Preferred Qualifications Previous security experience Military, law enforcement, corrections, EMS, or fire service background CPR and First Aid Certification Experience in customer service or conflict resolution Bilingual skills Experience writing reports and documenting incidents Work Environment Assignments may include commercial properties, residential communities, construction sites, special events, retail locations, industrial facilities, and other client locations throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area. Officers may work indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions and should be prepared to stand, walk, patrol, and respond to incidents as required. Ready to Make a Difference?
