As a Security Sergeant, you will serve as a frontline supervisor responsible for overseeing Security Officers, coordinating field operations, responding to incidents, mentoring personnel, and ensuring the highest level of service is provided to our clients. Security Sergeants play a critical role in officer accountability, client relations, incident management, and operational success. Benefits Competitive wages based on experience Leadership and advancement opportunities Flexible scheduling options Comprehensive paid training program Positive and supportive team culture Professional development opportunities Paid Uniforms Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Responsibilities Supervise and support Security Officers assigned to various locations Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks Respond to incidents, emergencies, and officer assistance requests Coordinate field operations with dispatch and management Ensure officers comply with company policies, client requirements, and operational procedures Review reports for accuracy, completeness, and professionalism Conduct on-site training and mentoring for newly assigned officers Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during assigned shifts Address employee performance concerns and provide coaching when necessary Assist with staffing, scheduling, and operational planning Coordinate with law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, and emergency communications centers when required Maintain a professional appearance and leadership presence at all times Qualifications Must be 25 years of age or older High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening Strong leadership and supervisory skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to remain calm and effective during emergencies Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Exceptional attention to detail Open availability preferred Preferred Qualifications Previous security supervisory experience Military leadership experience Law enforcement, corrections, EMS, or fire service experience CPR and First Aid Certification Experience conducting investigations and report review Experience managing personnel and resolving workplace issues Bilingual skills Work Environment Security Sergeants may oversee multiple client locations throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area and surrounding communities. Duties may include vehicle patrol, site inspections, incident response, client meetings, officer evaluations, and emergency response coordination. This position requires flexibility and the ability to respond to operational needs as they arise.
