Security & Public Service Representative

SCOPE OF WORK
The Security & Public Service Representative will be responsible for development and implementation of security protocols and safety measures to protect the property, grounds, staff and public and will provide guest service functions such as; answer phone and inquiries, meeting, greeting and escorting visitors.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor entrances and maintain a visible security presence to prevent theft, property damage, unauthorized access, and disruptive or violent behavior. Conduct routine patrols of interior, exterior, and parking areas to identify security risks, ensure doors and access points are secured, and detect signs of intrusion. Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and suspicious activity; notify appropriate authorities (fire, police, EMS) and take necessary action to maintain safety. Prepare and submit monthly reports detailing incidents, unusual activities, equipment issues, and security concerns; maintain logs of after-hours access and restricted entry. Enforce facility policies by warning violators, removing unauthorized individuals, and monitoring access to restricted areas, including contractors and visitors. Assist in implementing emergency preparedness plans, support general administrative tasks, and maintain updated organizational directories and records. Maintain current SRST Directory and update every six (6) months. Will perform other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED with experience in security, first responder, military, or law enforcement preferred. Driver's License.
SHIFT:
Rotating shift
TESTING AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
Subject to pre-employment, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing. Must submit to a background check.
HIRING PREFERENCES
Qualified applicants who are enrolled members of a federally recognized Tribe will receive Native American preference. Qualified applicants will receive Veteran's Preference with submission of proof of honorable military service (e.g., DD-214).
