Seasonal Security Officer

The Seasonal Plaza Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the 24/7 safety and security of the entire outside property of the Casino, protecting guests, team members, and company assets while delivering exceptional guest service. . Must be 19 years of age or older Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language HS Diploma or GED required Previous security experience preferred Must have strong oral and written communication skills including tact when dealing with difficult customers Basic computer skills required Ability to compose clear, accurate, and concise security reports Must present a well-groomed appearance Must possess a valid Driver's License with fewer than three moving violations (and no major violations such as DUI) in the past 36 months Ability to maintain extremely confidential information. General familiarity with investigative procedures . Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors. Ability to compose clear, accurate, and concise reports. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues. Flexible to work various shifts to include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Provides basic security coverage ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, Team Members, vendors and the company. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time, able to climb steps, respond to emergency situations, and handle basic duties and responsibilities of the position.
