Job Description

Job Details:
There are 2 positions available Maximum of 30 hours per week These shifts are for covering A, B or C shift and will be discussed during interview. This position is responsible for the physical security of the facility, including assignments to walking or stationary posts, depending upon the location. The position will require inspection and control of persons and vehicles while entering or leaving the facility, logging of truck traffic during ingress and egress, writing reports, performing preliminary investigations in addition to switchboard operations, two-way radio communication and intercom equipment. Requires a valid drivers' license and must be eighteen years of age or older.
Specific duties include:
Checking identification of all visitors, vendors, contractors, and Team Members. Allowing only authorized personnel into the facility. Checking all carry-in items including bags, briefcases, toolboxes, lunchboxes, etc. Writing investigative reports and preliminary investigations of accidents, thefts, workplace violence, and other incidents as needed. Walking through the plant to check physical facility security. Inspection of all motor vehicles driven into the plant.
Education:
High School diploma or GED preferred

Communication Skills:
Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate under stressful situations. Other Able to work in both hot cold temperatures and adapt to the outside temperatures. Must be able to work both independently under supervision and have a positive work ethic attitude. Must have a valid driver's license. Must pass a
