Full Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our employees, guests and property through observing and reporting video surveillance and access control protocol.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access for employees, contractors, vendors, guests, and vehicles on property. Conduct scheduled patrols of buildings, grounds, and access points. Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required. Monitor and operate CCTV and access control systems to maintain continuous awareness of property. Operate multi-channel radio system and assign priority to incoming calls. Receive and respond to a wide variety of emergency and non-emergency calls. Manage lost and found operations by receiving, logging, securing, and returning items. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Previous experience and working knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, and radio communication systems . Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work long hours, including overnights, evenings, weekends and holidays as required. Ability to resolve and de-escalate conflict management situations and enhance customer service experience in an event setting. Must be detail-oriented and highly organized with an ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks and adapt to change. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to stand and frequently walk long distances.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. College course work/or commensurate experience and/or training.
