Armed Security Officer

Overview SORA & Permit to Carry Required Available to work 6pm to 2am and 2am to 10am Join our dynamic security team as an Armed Security Officer, where your vigilance and expertise will safeguard our facilities, personnel, and assets. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be the first line of defense, actively monitoring premises, managing conflicts, and responding swiftly to incidents with professionalism and confidence. Your dedication will help ensure safety while providing a reassuring presence for everyone on site. Responsibilities Patrol designated areas regularly to deter unauthorized access and monitor for suspicious activity using CCTV surveillance systems. Drone operation. Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, conflicts, or emergencies, applying conflict management skills to de-escalate situations. Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, visitors, and contractors to prevent theft, loss prevention breaches, or safety hazards. Operate security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control devices with precision and attention to detail. Administer first aid or CPR when necessary and coordinate with emergency responders in case of medical or safety emergencies. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly. Enforce facility policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor. Qualifications Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and decisively while maintaining professionalism. Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections. Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
