Job Overview Current SORA is a MUST!!!!! This is a bar / restaurant type setting. Join our team as an On-Call / As-Needed Unarmed Security Guard, working primarily on Friday and Saturday nights. This dynamic role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in maintaining a safe and secure environment. You will be responsible for monitoring premises, managing access points, and ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and property. Your proactive presence will help deter theft, prevent incidents, and respond swiftly to any emergencies or security concerns. This position offers flexible scheduling with paid shifts, ideal for those looking to contribute to a secure environment while balancing other commitments. Responsibilities Enforce security policies and conflict management protocols to de-escalate tense situations effectively Document all security activities, incidents, and observations accurately in shift reports Support loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and reporting findings appropriately Experience Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are a plus but not required; training can be provided Strong observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations while managing conflicts effectively Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone feels protected!
