Job Description

Northbrook Behavioral Health Hospital, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a Security Officer with prior hospital experience to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, employees, and visitors while providing exceptional customer service. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for healthcare, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Patrol hospital premises to deter and detect unauthorized activity Monitor and respond to emergency situations, including alarms and distress calls Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff Develop and maintain a working knowledge of hospital policies and procedures Communicate effectively with hospital staff, management, and law enforcement Maintain accurate records and reports of incidents and security-related activities
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to pass a thorough background check and obtain required certifications 2+ years of security or law enforcement experience required. Experience working in a hospital environment is strongly preferred . Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Strong communication and interpersonal skills
