WatchDog Security Group Position Overview WatchDog Security Group is seeking reliable, professional, and customer-focused Certified SORA Unarmed Security Officers to provide security services for our client's property in Long Branch, NJ. This full-time position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, security, and integrity of the premises. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant observation, routine patrols, and professional interaction with residents, visitors, and staff. Key Responsibilities Provide a safe and secure environment for the client's property and occupants. Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols to deter criminal activity and ensure safety. Monitor entrances, exits, and surrounding areas to prevent unauthorized access. Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security breaches. Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies. Prepare detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports. Enforce property rules, regulations, and policies. Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and staff. Assist visitors with directions and information as needed. Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Utilize security technology, including CCTV systems, access control, and reporting software. Minimum Qualifications Must possess a valid New Jersey SORA Security Officer Certification . High school diploma or GED required. Must have a reliable personal vehicle for transportation to and from the job site. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Must be dependable, punctual, and professional. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service. Experience working in residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties. Familiarity with CCTV, access control systems, and incident reporting software. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Customer service experience in a professional setting. Physical Requirements Ability to stand or walk for extended periods. Capability to conduct foot and vehicle patrols. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
