AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or calls for service according to site protocols. Work closely with hospital personnel, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership during medical emergencies, visitor issues, and/or other urgent events while maintaining professionalism and clear communication.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree. Possess an Armed Guard Card or License. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a New Jersey RPO Certificate. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
