Position Overview:

IronRock Security is seeking a reliable and experienced Armed Security Officer to oversee access control at schools in Newark, NJ. This role requires a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and prior experience with access control . The guard will help ensure site coverage, support fellow officers, and maintain a safe environment for staff and customers. This is a hands-on leadership role with opportunities for growth within IronRock Security.

Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor access control points Conduct regular patrols of the residential property Perform occasional mobile patrols as needed Write clear incident and daily activity reports Support scheduling coordination and communicate staffing needs Maintain a professional and customer-friendly presence Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriately

Requirements:

4+ years of armed security experience with a concealed carry permit required Access control experience required Valid driver's license (required for periodic mobile patrols) Strong communication and report-writing skills Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

CompensationBenefits:
