AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, entrances, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel, following post instructions for access control, credential checks, and visitor logging. Support loss prevention and operational continuity by observing package handling areas, reporting damaged property or suspicious behavior, and communicating security-related concerns in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card/license is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
