Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, prompt response to incidents, and effective conflict management. Your dedication will help ensure the safety of everyone on site while upholding the highest standards of security protocol. Duties Monitor all areas of the facility using CCTV surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols to identify potential security risks Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring first aid or CPR Enforce safety policies and conduct conflict management procedures when necessary to de-escalate tense situations Conduct loss prevention activities by inspecting for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious activities promptly Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents, providing clear communication and support Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are preferred; ongoing training is encouraged Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and monitoring procedures Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts effectively Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and emergency responders Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as required Join us as a Security Officer and play a vital role in creating a safe environment where everyone can thrive.
