PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or security-related concerns. Perform armed post duties in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal guidelines, maintaining professional presence and following applicable use of force and reporting procedures. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized activity while supporting daily operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree. Possess a concealed carry weapons permit. Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a corrections officer license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
