PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, entry procedures, and security-related concerns while supporting a professional and courteous environment. Support healthcare operations by observing patient and visitor areas for policy compliance, reporting hazards or maintenance issues, and assisting with de-escalation support when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required. A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field is required. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
