This role is ideal for security professionals who value integrity, vigilance, and serviceand who want to be part of a team that supports national security objectives. As an Armed Security Officer, you will serve on the frontline of protection, maintaining a secure environment through proactive presence, sound judgment, and strict adherence to security protocols. You will represent Chenega and our federal clients with professionalism while contributing directly to the safety and continuity of vital operations.

• This position is on-site in Artesia, NM.
• Responsibilities
• + Provide armed protective services for personnel, assets, and facilities in accordance with federal, contract, and SSBU security requirements.

+ Control access points, screen personnel and vehicles, and conduct patrols to detect and deter threats. + Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations. + Enforce laws, regulations, and site-specific policies with professionalism and discretion. + Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and required documentation. + Operate as part of a disciplined team while remaining alert, calm, and decisive in dynamic environments.

• Qualifications
• + Minimum High School Diploma or GED. + Must be at least 21 years of age. +
• Preferred, but not required
• : Any combination of two years of experience in physical security (as a security officer - armed or unarmed) and service with the United States Armed Services (including Reserves or National Guard), orassociate's degree in a Security or Law Enforcement related field, orsuccessful completion of a police officers basic training academy.

+ Must possess and maintain a valid state drivers license. _Knowledge,_ _Skills_ _and

Abilities:
