Job Description

Responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of patrons, employees and casino property. All applicants are subject to drug and background check. Access control system; Basic Computer Operations
  • Word, Excel, Etc., archiving video; Basic Drop Procedures
  • Resort (Group II), basic drop procedures
  • Tavern; Basic interviews, basic investigation, basic patrol procedures, basic tavern operations; Bolo's, burglary, counterfeit currency, defrauding Innkeeper, fraud/embezzlement, larceny; Conducting identification checks, corporate building(s) inspections; Conflict resolution, use of force, handcuffing, detention of person; Customer service, security officer authority, security patrols, on shift procedures, verbal judo; Employee injuries & slip and falls, patron injuries & slip and falls, property damage, First-Aid/CPR/AED; Equipment inspections, evidence handling, vehicle accidents, vehicle inspections, escorts; How to evacuate a location, minor on property, reasonable suspicion testing, trespass procedures; New Incident Notification Management, Solarwinds/ responding to tickets; Itrak, operation of surveillance Indigo, Intellex, Samsung 2011, Wave Server; Red tag abandoned vehicles, suspicious or abandoned vehicles, towing of vehicles; Responding to active shooter, bomb threats, deceased person, incidents, fire alarm, panic button; Title 31•Basic understanding; Use of fire extinguisher, use of handheld radios, utilizing alarm system; Voluntary statements and other written reports, lost & found; Perform other duties as assigned.
At least 21 years of age; High school diploma or equivalent; Prior Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred; Nice, friendly, and willing to work attitude; Possess excellent critical thinking, organization, communication, and conflict resolution skills; Ability to prioritize tasks and assignments; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; Valid driver's license and clean, current DMV printout; Ability to obtain proper work cards and other certifications as needed; Ability to work flexible hours and varying shifts as business needs dictate; Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time; Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
