Job Description
Overview We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to uphold safety and security standards across our facilities. This dynamic role involves monitoring premises, managing access points, and ensuring the protection of personnel, property, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to various situations. Join us in creating a secure environment where safety is a shared priority and excellence is the standard. Duties Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity within and around the premises. Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors through verification procedures and manual checks. Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security breaches or hazards. Perform background checks on new hires or visitors as part of security clearance procedures. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by implementing conflict management protocols and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Utilize security equipment including Taser, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and CPR techniques to assist in emergencies. Manage loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism. Conduct heavy lifting or manual handling tasks when required for equipment or incident management. Qualifications Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and conflict management is preferred. Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and security protocols is essential. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively, including heavy lifting when necessary. Strong observational skills with an eye for detail during routine patrols and inspections. Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally. Ability to perform background checks accurately and efficiently as part of screening procedures.
