As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help manage entry and badge activity at a busy logistics and distribution location, supporting smooth daily operations through strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering service with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery access in accordance with post orders. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including docks, trailer yards, gate areas, and parking locations, as conditions vary by site. Help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations by observing site activity, reporting concerns, and supporting established access procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
