Education, License, and Certification Requirements:

Must have a Valid NYS Guard License High School Diploma or GED Reliable Transportation Duties Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect and prevent suspicious activity or security breaches. Conduct regular patrols of the property, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and interior spaces to ensure safety and security. Verify the identity of visitors and contractors, managing access points efficiently and professionally. Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary. Enforce loss prevention policies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting any irregularities immediately. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations to ensure accurate record-keeping. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with inquiries while maintaining a vigilant security presence. Requirements Proven ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts in various environments. Knowledge of surveillance techniques using CCTV systems and other security technology. Experience or training in conflict management to handle tense situations calmly and effectively. Certifications in First Aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and basic law enforcement procedures are highly desirable. Background in security, military service, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with visitors, staff, and emergency personnel. Ability to handle stressful situations with confidence while maintaining a positive attitude.
