Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to loss prevention. The Security Guard will monitor premises mostly in person Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities. Utilize CCTV and surveillance equipment to observe and report any suspicious activities. Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary. Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Provide first aid assistance when required; maintain certification in CPR and first aid. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary during incidents or emergencies. Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches. Conduct regular inspections of property to ensure safety standards are met. Assist in training new security personnel on protocols and procedures. Requirements Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques. Familiarity with CCTV systems and general surveillance practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications are a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Physical fitness to perform duties that may require standing for long periods or responding quickly in emergencies.
