PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, loading docks, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns. Monitor access points, verify entry and exit activity, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with site protocols. Support daily operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by observing site activity, assisting with routine inquiries, and preparing clear, accurate reports of incidents and/or observations.

Minimum Requirements:

A New York State Security Guard License is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
