Job Description
Overview We are seeking a reliable, attentive, and professional F-60 Fireguard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining fire safety procedures, monitoring designated areas for fire hazards, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This role requires strong observation skills, quick response capabilities, and the ability to remain calm in emergency situations. Duties & Responsibilities Conduct continuous fire watch patrols in assigned areas. Monitor premises for fire hazards, unsafe conditions, or violations of fire safety regulations. Respond immediately to fire alarms, emergencies, or safety incidents. Ensure fire exits, fire extinguishers, and safety equipment remain accessible and operational. Maintain accurate logs and reports of patrol activities, incidents, and inspections. Communicate effectively with building management, staff, and emergency responders. Enforce fire safety policies and procedures at all times. Assist with evacuation procedures during emergencies when necessary. Monitor construction sites, hot work areas, or temporary fire systems as assigned. Utilize surveillance systems and communication devices when required. Qualifications & Experience Valid F-60 Fireguard Certification required. Previous experience in security, fire watch, or safety-related roles preferred. Strong attention to detail and situational awareness. Ability to handle emergency situations professionally and efficiently. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. Familiarity with fire safety equipment and emergency procedures preferred. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Work Environment This position may require standing for extended periods, patrolling indoor and outdoor locations, and working evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.
