Roles & Responsibilities Summary:
Check and log in all visitors and contractors entering and leaving the dormitory during operation hours. Monitor and direct vehicular traffic entering and leaving the dormitory premises, assist in maintaining safe traffic flow during start and end of the day. Investigate alarms and disturbances and report all such situations to the Estate Manager. Record details of security-related incidents, eg. break-ins, dangerous driving within dormitory premises, activation of the security alarm system etc. in the Mobile APP System and alert the Estate Manager immediately. Issue warning of rule infractions or violations as directed by the Estate Manager. Follow the security SOP meticulously and carry them out diligently and sensibly.
Responsibilities:
Ensures proper checks and security records are in place for traceability on all physical access into the dormitory. Patrols property and controls access points to ensure company's assets are protected and premises are secured. Attends to enquiries from residents and contractors pertaining to access control in a professional manner. Conducts crowd and traffic control consistent with protection and prevention objectives. Ensures compliance of workplace safety, standard security SOPs and fire-safety procedures and preventive measures are adhered to. Conducts regular checks and inspections to ensure building facilities are maintained at a high standard. Assumes duties during fire evacuations/ emergencies, and conducts preliminary investigations in the event of any outbreak or accident. Records observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. Reports to senior team members on any irregularities, unsafe conditions, and / or missing or inoperative fire or safety equipments.
Requirements:
Possess a minimum secondary school qualification and a valid security license issued by PLRD. Must have a minimum 1 year of working experience in security industry. Able to deal with unexpected emergencies calmly and sensibly. Must follow the chain of command and comply with directives from Estate Manager. Must maintain a smart and professional appearance and able to interact with the staff and residents politely and firmly as needed.
