Tactical Security Officer This is a

STANDING/WALKING

post which requires you to be on your feet while on duty. This post is INSIDE a retail store. The Tactical Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through advanced security practices, rapid incident response, surveillance, patrol operations, and enforcement of site-specific security protocols. The officer provides a visible deterrent to criminal activity and responds effectively to emergencies, threats, and high-risk situations. As a Tactical Security Officer, you will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor while providing superior customer service to our clients and your surrounding communities.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to deter theft Communicate constantly with the manager on duty regarding any suspicious activity Implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to minimize risk Monitor and respond to alarms to detect potential theft Respond to emergencies, disturbances, medical incidents, and security breaches Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries or concerns.

Qualifications:

Valid NYS Security License Prior military, law enforcement, security or bouncer experience preferred CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred Knowledge of tactical response procedures and defensive tactics Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and conflict management Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally Attention to detail and strong observation skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Schedule:

Part-time Shifts available: 1st (0800x1500) and 2nd (1500x2200)

Compensation for this role is set and is not subject to negotiation.
