PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled entry and orderly operations. Maintain a visible presence while interacting professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors, following all post orders and armed post procedures throughout the shift.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess a concealed carry weapons permit. Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience. Possess an armed guard card/license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
