Security Guard

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are addressed promptly. Shift is overnight 10pm-6am Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure the safety of all individuals on-site. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or assist in investigations. Document all security-related incidents accurately in reports for future reference. Skills Possession of a valid security certificate is preferred. Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR practices; certification is a plus. Familiarity with law enforcement protocols and procedures is advantageous. Ability to operate CCTV systems efficiently for monitoring purposes. Military experience is a plus but not required; discipline and attention to detail are essential attributes.
