P/T Morning Security Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for an officer with law enforcement experience to work a PT Weekday Morning schedule at an elementary school in Nassau County, Long Island.

The schedule is:

Monday to Friday 7:00am-1:00pm Ideally, we are looking for an officer with a law enforcement background, who can reliably cover the above schedule, and sometimes cover additional hours if necessary. The candidate will be mindful of the school environment and be courteous, patient, reliable and maintain professional boundaries with staff, administration and students. We are looking to immediately fill this post. At 1:00pm you would be relieved by another officer. You will receive training at the location and it is important that the instructions and policies are followed for every shift. Oftentimes, officers can get complacent and disregard post instructions; which creates additional work for client/administration.

NOTE:

Schools are closed during the summer, so this schedule will be active from September to June each year.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
