Job Description
Duties :
- Maintain a visual presence to all students, faculty and staff on all floors. Provide assistance and service when requested.
- Report any unusual conditions or observations
- Identify all people coming into the buildings. Determine their nature of business and where they are going.
- Patrol outside of school buildings including all parking lots. Check for unsafe conditions, or any unauthorized vehicles or persons on athletic fields, or any other part of school property.
- Monitor and operate security cameras to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, and take appropriate action as necessary
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required
Requirements:
- Law enforcement background and/or related experience required
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Basic computer skills for operating camera systems and documenting incidents
