Overview Join our dynamic security team as an Armed Guard, where your vigilance and expertise will play a vital role in safeguarding people, property, and assets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your law enforcement background, security skills, and conflict management abilities in a fast-paced environment. As an Armed Guard, you will be the frontline protector, ensuring safety through proactive surveillance, quick response to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment at all times. Your dedication will help create a safe space for everyone on-site while providing peace of mind to our clients and visitors. Responsibilities Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies or security incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Conduct thorough inspections of individuals and packages to prevent theft, loss prevention, and unauthorized entry. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating potential threats while maintaining safety protocols. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records accurately for future reference. Use security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and communication devices to ensure continuous site protection. Requirements Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles with a focus on armed security operations. Valid firearms license or certification as required by local regulations for armed security personnel. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, and loss prevention strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Familiarity with security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response plans. Physical fitness to perform patrols and stand for extended periods while maintaining alertness.
