Security Guard

Our company is seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to join our team in Mount Vernon, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and benefits. Uniforms and training are provided. Key Responsibilities Patrol facility grounds, buildings, and parking areas on foot or by vehicle Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control points Control entry and exit of visitors, employees, and vehicles according to site protocols Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or irregular conditions Prepare accurate, detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and requests for assistance Deter criminal activity and misconduct through visible security presence Provide customer service by greeting visitors and answering questions courteously Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed Follow all post orders, safety protocols, and company policies

Requirements Required:

New York State security guard license (Must possess or be willing to obtain) High school diploma or equivalent Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods Strong observation skills and attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills Reliable transportation to Mount Vernon, NY work site Must be legally authorized to work in the

United States Preferred:

1+ years of security, military, or law enforcement experience Experience with CCTV monitoring and alarm systems First Aid, CPR, and AED certification Prior experience in commercial, retail, or residential security

Pay:

$24.45 - $28.09 per hour
