PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, team members, and store leadership by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with the appropriate contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, receiving zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior. Monitor access to designated areas, observe customer and employee activity for security-related concerns, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or policy issues to site leadership. Support opening and closing routines, assist with crowd and line management during busy periods, and provide a visible presence that helps to promote an orderly shopping environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
