PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance areas, stockroom access points, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues that could impact daily operations. Support asset protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with crowd and queue observation, and following post orders related to high-value merchandise and store closing procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
One or more of the following is required: 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
