Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic security team as a Security Professional and become a vital protector of people, property, and assets. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through vigilant surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. Your proactive approach will ensure safety protocols are followed, and any incidents are swiftly addressed. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise in a fast-paced setting while making a meaningful impact every day. Duties Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to identify suspicious activity or security breaches Control access points by verifying credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Respond promptly to security incidents, conflicts or emergencies with effective conflict management techniques Conduct patrols of the facility to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring immediate response to medical emergencies Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring external assistance Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for reporting purposes Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies is a plus Strong ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while managing conflicts effectively Excellent observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and inspections Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts Capacity to work within one or several of our sites: Farmingville, NY, and Farmingdale, NY F02 Certification Mandatory at Bronx Site with 1-Month from hire to obtain F80 Certification Preferred.
