As ESCT expands into the Mid-Hudson region, we are seeking dependable security professionals to help establish a stable and professional security presence within a residential environment. Position Summary ESCT is hiring professional and reliable Unarmed Security Officers to support security assignments in Rochester, NY. Officers are expected to maintain a calm, respectful, and service-oriented presence while operating within established post orders and company standards. Officers work under the direction of an on-site Site Supervisor and ESCT Operations Leadership within a structured supervisory model. This position is ideal for individuals who value clear expectations, consistent leadership, and a professional work environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct visible foot and vehicle patrols Observe conditions, identify concerns early, and report accurately Follow post orders, site procedures, and chain of command De-escalate conflicts when appropriate and request assistance when needed Communicate clearly with supervisors Complete required reports and documentation Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times Schedule and Availability Full-Time and Part-Time set shifts are available. On-Call officers provide coverage for call-offs, vacancies, and operational needs. Availability that supports evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays is strongly preferred. Reliability is essential. Officers must arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work. Minimum Qualifications Current New York State Security Guard Registration Valid driver license Strong professionalism, judgment, and communication skills Ability to remain calm during incidents Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Reliable transportation to Kingston assignments Ability to complete clear written reports Preferred Qualifications Prior residential or community-based security experience De-escalation experience Familiarity with mobile reporting tools Hiring Process and Employment Conditions Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of ESCT screening and onboarding requirements, including license verification, due diligence checks, and orientation prior to assignment.
