Security Officer Summer Camp (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Position Overview Snoop Investigations & Security is seeking professional and dependable Security Officers to join our team for seasonal assignments at a Summer Camp located in Roscoe, New York. We are hiring for multiple shifts, including weekdays and weekends. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment for campers, staff, visitors, and property while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional presence.

11:00 PM•7:00 AM Key Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas and maintain a visible security presence. Monitor premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or violations of camp policies. Conduct routine inspections of buildings, doors, windows, gates, and other access points. Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities in detailed reports. Respond appropriately to emergencies, disturbances, and safety concerns. Enforce site rules and regulations in a professional manner. Communicate effectively with camp staff, visitors, law enforcement, and emergency responders when necessary. Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and security vulnerabilities. Request emergency services when situations require immediate assistance. Qualifications Required Valid New York State Security Guard License. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Strong observation skills and attention to detail. Professional appearance and demeanor. Reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Preferred Previous security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience. CPR, First Aid, or emergency response training. Physical Requirements Ability to walk and patrol throughout the assigned shift. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
