Job Summary Join our dynamic security team as an Armed Security Officer, where your vigilance and expertise will safeguard our facilities, personnel, and assets. In this energized role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, rapid response to incidents, and effective conflict management. Your military or law enforcement background will be highly valued as you utilize advanced security techniques, CCTV systems, and loss prevention strategies to ensure safety at all times. Duties Monitor premises continuously using CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and enforce security protocols. Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or alarms, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Manage access control by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors; authorize entry and exit in accordance with company policies. Implement conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Perform first aid and CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance until emergency responders arrive. Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, security breaches, or safety concerns for record-keeping and follow-up. Experience Proven background in law enforcement, military service, or private security roles with relevant armed security experience. Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively. Knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and legal regulations related to armed security operations.
