Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Licensed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and responding swiftly to any security incidents. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Duties Control access to the facility by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity around the premises and identify potential security threats. Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Perform routine patrols of the property to check for signs of unauthorized access, safety hazards, or damage. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and calmness, de-escalating disputes when they arise. Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, security breaches, or unusual occurrences. Assist with loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or vandalism and implementing preventative measures. Requirements Valid security license or certification as mandated by local regulations. Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields. Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and alarm systems. Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security protocols. Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts.
