Overview Join our dynamic team as an Unarmed Security Guard for special events and become a vital part of ensuring safety, order, and a positive experience for all attendees. In this energetic role, you will be the first line of defense, providing vigilant security presence at high-profile gatherings, concerts, festivals, and corporate functions. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent incidents, manage crowd control, and support event staff in maintaining a secure environment. Responsibilities Monitor event premises using surveillance tools such as CCTV cameras to identify potential security risks or suspicious activity Conduct thorough inspections of guests, staff, and vendors to prevent unauthorized access or theft Manage crowd flow and enforce entry protocols to ensure smooth and safe event operations Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances with conflict management skills, de-escalating situations effectively Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, supporting the health and safety of all attendees Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during emergencies or incidents Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations throughout each event shift Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred but not required Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain these certifications is a plus Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques Excellent conflict management abilities with a calm and professional demeanor under pressure Knowledge of security protocols, crowd control methods, and emergency response procedures Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during event shifts Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and emergency personnel Join us in creating safe environments where memorable moments happen!
