AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assist with visitor check-in practices, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues according to post instructions. Support day-to-day operations during school hours, after-school activities, and special events by following assigned post orders and documenting security-related incidents and/or routine activities.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
