PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, front desk protocols, visitor reception duties, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Monitor lobby and reception areas, greet employees and visitors, verify identification and access permissions, and direct guests according to location policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Support access control functions by documenting visitor activity, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining front desk logs, and communicating with staff regarding arrivals and deliveries. Answer phones and front desk inquiries, provide clear information to guests and staff, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A New York State Security Guard License is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
