PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards. Monitor access points and observe visitor movement to help support authorized entry, orderly operations, and adherence to location rules and posted requirements. Assist with crowd management, special events, and/or public interactions by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and supervisors.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
